EXCELLENTVerified Fantastic tour with a fantastic guide Jata Mt Batur sunrise tour was fantastic from start to finish. Our guide Jata was a well experienced guide who couldn't do enough for us. He was very knowledgeable when we asked questions and maintained a good walking pace for us to get up and down safely. We were provided with water and hiking poles and a lovely breakfast at the top. Jata even made me a makeshift phone prop so I could record the sunrise, and took photos of us at the top. We recommend this tour to anyone thinking about doing it.Verified 10/10 would come back!! My sister and I did a sunrise hike experience at My Batur with Bli Tana and he did a fantastic job! He consistently checked in on us to make sure we were doing fine. We felt really well taken care of. The driver picked us up right at our accommodation on time and took us well to the starting point on Mount Batur.Our private guide Donn has already been waiting on site. He welcomed us warmly, made a bit of small talk and we felt comfortable from the beginning and got along well with him. He was also very attentive throughout the tour and we were able to talk well together. We have read in reviews from other providers in part that the guides just run at it without taking into account and you have to make sure that you get behind. That wasn't the case with Donn at all. He always paid attention and asked if we needed a break and asked again and again if everything was okay.When we arrived at the summit a cozy bench awaited us to sit on and Donn immediately made us hot chocolate and coffee. While he made us a really delicious breakfast consisting of banana toasts and hard boiled eggs, we could watch the coming dawn. The view really became more and more beautiful and breathtaking.When the sun had risen, Donn showed us the steam coming out of the volcano and the warm spots to warm us up a bit.Then we went down the mountain again. On the occasion we were able to talk to Donn and learn a lot about him and his culture. Along the way he also showed us a lot and explained a lot to us.Arriving at the parking lot again we unfortunately had to say goodbye. The driver then took us back to our accommodation. All in all, it was a really nice and incredible experience that we can recommend to anyone.Verified Stunning Batur views Climbing Mount Batur at sunrise was an unforgettable experience! The trail was well-organized, and we felt safe the entire time. We hike a lot hence it was not that challenging, but the reward at the summit made it all worthwhile. When we got to the base of the mountain, we met with our wonderful guide Tana. He provided us with waters, headlamps, and once we got to the top he made us coffees and provided some food.
