Kliwan best guide/photographer Kliwan was absolutely amazing! He got us up the mountain in great time and we had plenty of time to settle and watch the full sunrise. And then knew when to get going to beat the rush for pictures of the crater and to get down before we were waiting in big lines.also great photographer! CARIK best guide ever !!! Excellente expérience avec le meilleur guide possible CARIK ! Il nous a fait découvrir les meilleurs spots du Mont Batur loin de la foule, et a pris plein de magnifiques photos de nous. Les discussions étaient très intéressantes et nous le remercions encore pour ce moment privilégié. Amazing experience with an incredible guide! Absolutely beautiful experience! The booking process was super easy, with very quick and helpful communication. Our transfer was perfectly on time and the driver was lovely. The highlight was definitely our guide, Manguk Suryadi! He was so kind, attentive, and made sure we had the best time. Absolut empfehlenswerte Jeep Tour zum Sonnenaufgang Wir wurde um 3:30 Uhr vom Hotel aus Ubud abgeholt und sind mit einem Fahrer zu dem Treffpunkt gefahren. Dort hat uns unser Guide und Jeep Fahrer Gede begrüßt. Gede hat uns die ganze Tour über super begleitet und mega Fotos von uns aufgenommen. Er war wirklich ein Profi im Fotos machen.

Great experience on Mt. Batur My girlfriend and I booked the Mt. Batur Sunrise Hike + Hotsprings. We had an amazing time. You have to wake up very early, but, if you don’t do that sort of thing often, a unique experience to be on top of the mountain, long before the sun begins to rise. Roughly an hour before the sun even becomes visible, the dawn colors emerging and changing as you look out over Mt. Abang, Agung, and Rinjani (in the distance) is an incredible experience. Most of the tours take you to a seating area to watch the sunrise from the closest side of Batur’s crater, but our guide Charik, brought us around to the other side. Going from hundreds of people on the busy side, to just a few on the other side of the crater to watch the moment the sun peaked up over the horizon. As we went back around the crater rim, he took us to the hot volcanic steam coming out of the crater rim. Essentially a sauna/steam room just coming out of the ground! Charik also took us up a smaller, single track trail through the forest, which was much better than some of the other more popular routes (going up we were basically alone). Charik is very kind, generous (gave us a cig with sunrise), and happy to explain about the area. We learned about the recent eruptions in the area, lake Batur’s volcanic activity, how that impacts the fish population, and much more. Very enriching experience, would recommend. Suksma Charik! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Core Memory — The Most Unforgettable Experience of Our Bali Trip Our Mount Batur sunrise trek with Bagas Bali Sunrise Trek was genuinely one of the most memorable experiences of our lives, and so much of that was because of our incredible private guide, Dul. From the moment we started hiking in complete darkness at 3:30 AM, Dul made us feel completely comfortable and safe. He gave us lights, guided us carefully through the volcanic terrain and ash, and somehow knew exactly when to let us keep going and when we needed a little break. There was absolutely no pressure to move faster. He was patient, encouraging, and happy to let us experience the mountain entirely at our own pace. Reaching the summit before sunrise was already surreal, but Dul made it even more special. He prepared breakfast and coffee for us while we watched the sky change over Bali, and then gave us all the time in the world to just enjoy it. We flew our drone, used our GoPro, took what felt like a million photos and videos, and never once felt rushed. But what I’ll remember most isn’t just the sunrise or the incredible views — it’s how genuinely kind Dul was. He is such a sweet, warm person and you can tell that he truly cares about the people he guides. He wasn’t simply taking us up and down a mountain; he was helping us have an experience we would remember forever. And we absolutely will. This hike became a core memory for us — one of those experiences we know we’ll still be talking about years from now. Watching the sunrise from the top of Mount Batur after climbing there together in the dark was truly magical, and having Dul there made it even better. If you’re coming to Bali and considering the Mount Batur sunrise trek, DO IT. And if you book with Bagas Bali Sunrise Trek, ask for Dul. We cannot recommend him enough.
